SO MANY PARTIES IN WISSETT FOR EVERYONE!

The Bells1. December 4th at 6.30 Wissett Christmas lights switch on at the pub and nearby with a countdown from Father Christmas.

2. December 6th. Re-Dedication of the Bells in the church at 3 o’clock by Bishop Nigel of St Edmundsbury and Ipswich. Followed by wine, sandwiches and cake etc in the village hall. (Provided by the ladies, gentlemen and friends of the PCC) The tent will be up in the churchyard (with an audio-link) in case there isn’t enough room in the church for everybody. Come and watch and listen to your bells ringing out.

The Bells3. December 18th: Wissett Village Christmas Party. In the Village Hall. Finger Food, drinks, games and music. Colin Flaxman is on the games so they’ll be exciting! Pass the parcel and musical chairs will be on offer for certain. £5 adults £3 children 12 & under. 7.30 start. Tickets from Louise. 873966.

4. December 20th: 6.30 Carol service at the church with the usual favourite carols and readings followed by mulled wine and mince pies provided by the ladies and gentlemen of the PCC. Special appearance of Ray Simmons on trumpet and Jason Busby on the organ. Plus your very own Wissett Warblers! Presentation of prizes for the winners of the Wreath Festival. Everyone very welcome. Come and have a good sing!

5. December 20th: from 7 pm. Music and mince pies at The Plough. Christmas songs and other music to get you in the mood for Christmas—if you aren’t already after the Carol Service!

6. December 31st: New Years’ Eve party at The Plough. War-time theme. Fancy dress optional.
