HISTORIC CHURCHES BIKE RIDE 12TH SEPT.
2 people rode for us and the amount raised was £182 - half of which comes to our church. Well done Geoffrey and Edward.
CHRISTMAS WREATH FESTIVAL
The idea is to decorate the church with colourful wreaths to depict the many different groups, businesses and interests there are in the village. Any individual can enter - there is no entry fee - and make whatever design they want. There is a special class for children.
There will be a £10 prize for the winner of each of the four classes. The entries will be on display in the church between 10.30 and 4 on Saturday and Sunday, 19th & 20th December when judging will take place. Judging will be by popular vote. Refreshments will be available.
Bring your entry to St Andrew’s Church between 2 and 4 on Friday 18th December. If you can’t come then, please ring either Valerie (873143) or Claire (873173) who will arrange a different time for you.
